Ontario’s lottery and gaming agency are confirming a story you first heard last month, thanks to myFM News.
OLG recently welcomed David Forrest of Horton to their Prize Centre in Toronto to officially celebrate his August 13th Lotto Max win totaling just over $333,333.
Forrest, a local bus driver, says he’s been playing the lottery since the day of WINTARIO, adding that his first big OLG win feels “great and surreal.”
“I was enjoying a morning coffee with my wife when I decided to check my ticket on the OLG app,” David recalled. “I said, ‘Oh, look! I won $333 and 333 cents.’ I quickly realized that couldn’t be right. My wife took the phone and said, ‘You won $333,333!’ We stared at each other in disbelief. We were so shocked!”
He adds that “no matter who I told, everyone was so happy for me. People would say, “It couldn’t have happened to a better guy.'”
Forrest plans to travel, invest, and share the winnings with his family.
