Deep River and District Health (DRDH) is excited to announce the appointment of Meagen Boisvenue as the new Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive, effective September 24, 2024. Meagen brings over 14 years of healthcare leadership experience, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
In her new role, Meagen will oversee quality improvement initiatives across DRDH facilities, including the Deep River and District Hospital, North Renfrew Family Health Team, and Four Seasons Lodge Long-Term Care Home. She will also work to enhance nursing practice, promote professional development, and ensure top-tier patient care.
“We are thrilled to welcome Meagen to our leadership team,” said Janna Hotson, President and CEO of DRDH. “Her passion for rural healthcare innovation and her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams will be vital as we continue to expand our services and deliver outstanding care to our community.”
Before joining DRDH, Meagen held a leadership position at Cornwall Community Hospital and has extensive experience in hospitals, long-term care, and home care across Eastern Ontario. A Registered Nurse with a Master’s in Health Management, she is also pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing and holds a Certified Healthcare Executive designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
