Pembroke Lumber Kings captain Eric Barnard had a 3 point night as the Kings doubled the Ottawa Jr. Senators 4-2 to improve to 2 and 3 on the season. Barnard sealed the victory with an empty net goal at the 19:38 mark of the third period, handing the Senators their fourth loss in their first five games. Jayson Alegria had a goal and an assist for the Kings, while Jack Ferguson picked up the win as he started his third game in a row.
