The County of Renfrew is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Warden's Community Service Awards. The nomination deadline is November 1 and the awards will be presented at County Council on November 27.
The County of Renfrew is now accepting nominations for the annual Warden’s Community Service Awards. These awards honor individuals, not-for-profit organizations, and businesses that contribute to the community’s well-being.
Residents are encouraged to nominate those who make a difference in the Ottawa Valley, whether through organizing community events, supporting social organizations, or sponsoring local initiatives. Not-for-profit organizations that help residents in need and for-profit businesses that support youth programs, charity events, and local arts can also be nominated.
Renfrew County Warden Peter Emon emphasized the importance of celebrating those who uplift the community, encouraging residents to submit nominations before the November 1, 2024 deadline.
The awards will be presented at the Renfrew County Council session on November 27, 2024. To nominate someone, visit the County of Renfrew website or contact wardensawards@countyofrenfrew.on.ca for more information.
