Police say four firearms were stolen during a break and enter at a residence in Laurentian Valley Township (LVTP) on the Thanksgiving long weekend.
The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating after the firearms were stolen during the break-in, which occurred during the overnight hours of Oct. 13 to 14, on Joe Street in LVTP.
Missing from the home are:
- Lakefield Mossberg Mark II .22 calibre rifle
- Lee-Enfield .303 calibre rifle
- Single shot 12-gauge shotgun – unknown make
- Winchester 12-gauge shotgun
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of an OPP Scenes of Crime Officer.
