A frightfully fun time makes its hair-raising return to Haley Station this coming weekend.
The Haley Station Firefighters’ Association welcomes one and all to “a Haunted Haley’s Eve,” their free, all-ages Halloween event at the Haley Station Fire Hall this Saturday, October 26th.
Lieutenant Nathan Jahn says they’ve been busy putting together an expansive haunted house inside and outside the hall, which has already seen many volunteers pitch in to bring back an event that fell by the wayside in recent years.
Not only is it a great chance for the community to get together for a great time, but the fire hall is also planning some fantastic tricks and treats for the evening, including a costume contest, touch-a-truck, and plenty more frightful and delightful surprises.
Jahn says they’re planning to have enough treat bags for a couple hundred guests, but families can RSVP by email ahead of time with the number of children dropping by to ensure that they have enough for everyone.
He also recommends those with younger kids drop by before 6:30 p.m. that evening for the right level of frights.
You can also buy something tasty for the trip home at their bake sale, with profits from the evening being donated to support local fire victims.
Jahn says to keep up to date with the “A Haunted Haley’s Eve” by checking their events page on Facebook.
