Fitzy’s Sports Bar in Pembroke will hold a fundraiser to benefit the Got You In Mind thrift store, an important resource for the community tomorrow night. Under the dedicated leadership of Blanche Mirault, the store has continually supplied essential items to those in need, frequently at no cost. The fundraiser seeks to support operating expenses and will showcase local musicians who are generously donating their time and talent. Fitzy’s Sports Bar, along with a sound production supplier, has kindly provided their venue and services for the event.
Deputy Mayor Brian Abdallah is a chair member with the fundraiser, he tells myFM how important it is to participate in events like these within the community.
Blanche is well known in the community for going above and beyond for people in need, Abdallah stated that it is our turn to support her. Abdallah expects this years fundraiser to be even better than previous years, there will be live music to dance too, great food and drinks all while you are supporting a good cause.
