The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment is investigating a credit and debit card fraud case following the report of a lost wallet in the west end of Pembroke.
The incident occurred on August 20, when the cards from the lost wallet were used fraudulently at five different locations in Pembroke. In total, over $1,400 in unauthorized transactions were made.
Despite a detailed investigation, the OPP has been unable to identify the individual responsible for the fraud. Police are now seeking the public’s help to identify a male suspect described as being between 30 and 40 years old. The man was last seen driving a black four-door SUV.

The OPP urges the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to help prevent further crimes of this nature.
