A driver was sent to hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle rollover on Stone Road in Admaston-Bromley Township Sunday.
Officers from the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the crash, which occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. Nov. 24.
“Renfrew OPP, County of Renfrew Paramedic Service, and fire attended the scene to find the one occupant of the vehicle was trapped,” reads an OPP press release. “The driver was extricated from the vehicle by fire and transported to hospital via ORNGE for serious injuries.”
Police say it was later confirmed by hospital that the driver sustained non-life-threatening and non-life-altering injuries.
The road remained closed for police to complete their investigation.
Police are reminding drivers to be mindful of worsening road conditions as we enter into the winter season.
“Drive with caution and adjust your speeds accordingly.”
