The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment responded to 28 domestic disputes between November 12 and November 18. During this period, several individuals were charged with violating release conditions linked to Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) cases.
On November 12, a 45-year-old from no fixed address was charged with two counts of failing to comply with undertaking conditions in Pembroke. On November 15, another domestic dispute in Pembroke led to charges against a 26-year-old, also for breaching release conditions and failing to comply with probation.
Later that day, police investigated an IPV incident in Whitewater Region, charging an 18-year-old with assault and mischief related to the assault. A separate assault case in Pembroke resulted in charges against a 50-year-old for two counts of spousal assault.
On November 16, OPP responded to a single-vehicle crash in Killaloe, where two individuals, aged 18 and 27, were charged with violating IPV release conditions. Later that day, a domestic dispute in Madawaska Valley led to a mischief charge after a vehicle was driven into another, causing extensive damage.
In Brudenell, Lyndoch, and Raglan Township, on November 17, police arrested a 51-year-old for assault, threats, firearm possession, and mischief following a domestic dispute involving property damage and a seized firearm. Finally, on November 18, an individual from Petawawa was charged in Laurentian Valley for breaching release conditions.
