The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation (PRHF) is excited to announce the Week 16 winner of their Catch the Ace progressive jackpot raffle. Caitlin Bresee from Arnprior won $5,852 after her ticket revealed the Ace of Diamonds in a random online draw.
PRHF Executive Director Roger Martin shared that Week 17 of the raffle has started, with a jackpot of over $107,000. He also expressed gratitude to OK Tire Pembroke, the event’s 2024 presenting sponsor. Their support ensures more funds go directly to purchasing vital equipment for Pembroke Regional Hospital.
In just 16 weeks, the Catch the Ace raffle has raised over $158,000, funding 10 new hospital beds valued at $117,170. The next goal is to raise money for a new ultrasound machine for the Diagnostic Imaging Department, valued at $200,000.
Tickets for the Catch the Ace raffle can be purchased online at www.PRHcatchtheace.ca, or at local cash sale locations including Holiday Inn Express, Cork Culture, NRTC Communications (Petawawa), Bumpy Roads Studio (Pembroke), and Making Seasons Bright.
Each ticket purchase helps support the hospital’s highest priority equipment needs, with prices set at 3/$5, 10/$10, 50/$20, and 250/$40. Fifty percent of ticket sales directly fund the hospital’s equipment needs.
The PRHF extends a big thank you to the community and donors for their continuous support. Donations are always welcome and can be made by contacting the Foundation Office at (613) 732-2811, extension 7408 or visiting www.prhfoundation.com.
