A big shake-up is on the way at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, as President and CEO Julia Boudreau has decided to retire.
In a memo to RVH staff obtained by myFM/Oldies News, provincially appointed hospital Supervisor Altaf Stationwala says Boudreau “has contributed to the growth of many programs and services” over the past 33 years, including capital projects to better support community and patient needs and innovative care models.
She also spent more than two decades in charge of their human resources portfolio, where her work with unions, managers, and staff “became part of the fabric of positive work-life culture” at the hospital.
Stationwala also credits Boudreau with successfully navigating the RVH network through the COVID-19 pandemic, leading the hospital to the highest possible designation from Accreditation Canada in 2021.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank Julia for her many years of dedicated service to RVH,” says Stationwalla, adding that “Julia credits the high quality of patient care at RVH to the amazing team of dedicated staff, physicians, board members, and volunteers.”
Pierre Noel has been named as the interim CEO while the hospital recruits a replacement.
