The Hockey Canada World Juniors Training Camp is taking place at Garrison Petawawa until December 18, and the public is invited to attend and observe the exciting event. People will have the opportunity to watch practices at the Silver Dart Arena, located at Garrison Petawawa, and attend a public autograph and photo session at the Petawawa Civic Centre.
On Wednesday, December 18, the training camp will feature a special event where the World Juniors will skate alongside the Petawawa Stags Hockey Team and Minor Hockey players. This session is open to families of Minor Hockey players as well as members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and the Defence Team. Later that day, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., there will be a public autograph and photo opportunity at the Petawawa Civic Centre. This gives local fans the chance to meet the World Juniors players up close and capture memorable moments.
The practices at the Silver Dart Arena, which began on December 15, were open to CAF and Defence Team members due to limited capacity. The training camp provides a great opportunity for the community to engage with Canada’s future hockey stars.
