On Monday, December 16, the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation held a special meet and greet with local service clubs that generously supported the Tree of Lights Match-It Program on Giving Tuesday. The participating groups included the Palmer Rapids and Area Lions Club, Killaloe Lions Club, Madawaska Valley Lions Club, Quadeville and District Service Club, St. Francis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 406.
These community-minded organizations collectively donated an impressive $16,500, which will be used as matching funds for the Tree of Lights Program. The funds raised will directly contribute to vital improvements at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, including the redevelopment of the emergency department and renovations to the ambulatory care clinic.
The Tree of Lights Campaign is still ongoing, and there is time to make a difference. Donations will be accepted until December 31. To contribute, visit the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation website at www.sfvhfoundation.com. Your support helps ensure essential healthcare services continue to thrive in the community.
