A pair of agricultural programs in Renfrew County are getting a helping hand thanks to a province-wide campaign.
Cooking with Dairy in Eganville and the Renfrew County Lego Club in Douglas are among this year’s winners of Farm Credit Canada’s 4-H Club Fund, earning as much as five hundred dollars to help them grow.
Since its creation in 2013, the FCC 4-H Club Fund has contributed over $1 million in funding and supported more than 2,100 4-H clubs across Canada.
4-H Canada Interim CEO Hugh Maynard says the fund supports “volunteers across the country as they continue to build the next generation of leaders in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.”
FCC president and CEO Justine Hendricks says they are grateful for the work 4-H does in providing exceptional programming to support the next generation of agricultural leaders and producers.
