A local hockey club will soon have the opportunity to act as ambassadors for Renfrew County when they compete at the International Silver Stick tournament and an area restaurant is helping fund the journey.
The Upper Ottawa Valley Aces U15 Rep B team earned their spot at the international tournament at the Regional Silver Stick event in Pembroke in November.
On Jan. 1 and again on Jan. 8, Renfrew Pizzeria is offering a special deal – one large pizza plus 10 wings or eight cinnamon poppers – for $45 (no tax). From each order, $8 will be donated to the team.
The International Silver Stick runs Jan. 10-12 in Forest, Ontario.
