Alan passed away on January 23, 2025, just a month shy of his 93rd birthday. He was born in Richard’s Landing on St. Joseph Island, Ontario to Florence and Leslie Armstrong. Loving husband for 62 years to Dolores (Bellon), father to Michelle (Ray Groebner), Todd (Tonisol Tolentino) and the late Kim Armstrong. Grandfather to Ronan and Braden and step-grandfather to Alena Groebner and the late Marcus Groebner. He is predeceased by his brother Keith and survived by his younger brother Harold. Uncle to Patti, Jill, Sue and Ian and many cousins on the Bellon side of the family.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Alan with his family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, on Friday January 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 1st at 10:30 a.m. at Our lady of Lourdes Church, 280 Lourdesview Dr., Pembroke followed by cremation. Final interment St. Columba’s Cemetery.
