In partnership with the County of Renfrew, the Ottawa Valley Community Foundation (OVCF), formerly the Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation, is pleased to announce the launch of the Sport 4 All Fund to support youth sport across Renfrew County.
Warden Peter Emon, who has been instrumental in helping to procure the funding says that he was very pleased that end result was better than originally anticipated:
Audio PlayerThe fund derives from surplus generated by the successful 2023 Ontario Winter Games and will be distributed over the 2025 to 2028 sport seasons.
The Major Sports Infrastructure stream provides funding for new construction and upgrades to municipal sports facilities, aiming to boost accessibility, increase participation, and expand sports opportunities. The maximum funding available through this stream is $10,000.
