Leonard “Lenny” “Frenchie” Bergeron passed peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home & Retirement Home on Thursday, February 13th, 2025 in his 86th year. Leonard Bergeron of Pembroke, beloved husband of 53 years to Rose-Marie Bergeron (nee Vaillancourt). Loving father of Denise Bergeron (Emilia Fagnano) and Nicole (Chris) Statham. Dear brother of Lorne (Dorothy) Bergeron. Predeceased by parents Adelard and Victoire Bergeron (nee Demers). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Pembroke on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. Spring Interment of Ashes in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
