The City of Pembroke has announced that Pembroke Street East and West, between Maple Avenue and Christie Street and Lake Street and Mary Street will be closed to traffic to facilitate snow clearing operations in the downtown core., will be closed to traffic from 11:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, until approximately 8:00 am on Thursday, February 20. The closure is necessary for snow clearing operations in the downtown area.
During this time, no parking will be allowed on Pembroke Street East or West, or on any side streets within the closure zone. Vehicles parked in the area will be towed to ensure snow removal is completed efficiently.
Only emergency service vehicles and local traffic will be permitted in the affected area. Drivers are urged to respect posted signage and use alternate routes, as delays are expected.
