The Ottawa Valley’s own Gillan Rutz is hosting a good old fashioned Kitchen Ceilidh for St. Patrick's Day.
St Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate than with a good old fashioned Kitchen Ceilidh hosted by the Ottawa Valley’s own Gillan Rutz.
As Rutz himeslf puts it, times over the decades have changed but our love of our country and valley has never been more galvanized.
This show will rekindle memories enjoyed over generations celebrated at such establishments like Douglas Hotel, AKA The Diddley, Fred’s and Keon’s, on the Island, the Bears Den in Deep River to mention a few. Like all things Irish there’s a story involved!
The event promises to have a little something for everyone whether you’re Irish or perhaps Irish just for the day. The Fiddlaires & Friends along with a mystery guest will be attending and Gillan assures us that the day will be a memorable one.
