Don’t miss out—hop on the baking bus and sweeten the day for animals in need! This is your last chance to get in on this year’s Cupcake Day for the Ontario SPCA. Let’s bake, donate, and make a paw-sitive impact together!
This Monday, February 24, animal lovers across the region will bake, share, and raise vital funds to help animals in need. This fun event isn’t just about delicious treats—it’s an opportunity to support the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre, a registered charity that provides care, shelter, and second chances for animals.
Heather Jobe, Community Outreach Coordinator at the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre, shared with myFM that there are still plenty of exciting activities happening this weekend that you can get involved in!
Host a cupcake party or bake sale and help raise crucial funds for the animal centre, which depends on donations to keep up its vital work. If you can’t make it to Saturday’s fun, don’t fret—there’s another exciting opportunity to get involved on Sunday!
A reminder that the deadline to purchase tickets for the paint night is midnight tonight. Whether you’re hosting a neighbourhood bake sale, a fun gathering with friends, or sharing treats at work, Cupcake Day is flexible and easy to participate in. Jobe explains that there are a lot of animals in their care that need loving homes, but also need funds to keep them happy, safe and healthy at the SPCA.
