On February 19th, the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation (PRHF) proudly announced the Week 27 winner of their popular Catch the Ace progressive jackpot raffle, presented by OK Tire Pembroke. Sarah Behm from Pembroke was the lucky winner, taking home a weekly prize of $12,215.
Roger Martin, the Executive Director of PRHF, expressed excitement about the growing success of the raffle. He shared that the Catch the Ace Week 28 draw has launched with an estimated jackpot of over $282,000 if the Ace of Spades is caught.
“A big thank you to our presenting sponsor, OK Tire! Their generous support helps ensure more of the funds raised through Catch the Ace go directly toward purchasing new equipment for Pembroke Regional Hospital,” Roger said. “In just twenty-seven weeks, over $409,000 has been raised. This has funded 10 new hospital beds worth $117,170 and a $200,000 Ultrasound machine for the Diagnostic Imaging Department. We are now working towards the purchase of another Ultrasound machine to meet the hospital’s current needs.”
Tickets can be purchased online at www.PRHcatchtheace.ca or at several local locations, including Holiday Inn Express, Cork Culture, NRTC Communications (Petawawa), Bumpy Roads Studio (downtown Pembroke), and Making Seasons Bright.
Fifty percent of all ticket sales are directed towards the hospital’s highest-priority equipment needs, making this raffle a vital source of funding for PRH.
Donations are always welcome and can be made by contacting the Foundation Office at (613) 732-2811, extension 7408, or by visiting www.prhfoundation.com.
