Carmen Rye (nee Leal) – passed away at Hospice Renfrew on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the age of 71 years. Mother of Shelly Lachapelle, Kristy Rye, and Kathy Rye (Kevin Burnette). Grandmother of Nicholas Halliday, Kristin Plumley (Eric), Brandon Halliday, Yzer Tubman, Piper Tubman, Kyle Dejoode (Gabby) & Ryan Rye; and great-grandmother of Peyton, Thea & Wyatt Plumley and Bentley & Lynkin Dejoode. Daughter of the late George & Carmen Leal (nee Vincent); and sister of Robert, Frank (Catherine, late Shirley), Paul (Joanne) & the late John (late Faye-Ann) Leal. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.
