The Deep River & District Health Foundation (DRDH) is currently seeking passionate individuals from the North Renfrew community to join its Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a difference in healthcare and community engagement in the region.
As a Board member, individuals will have the chance to contribute to important fundraising projects, help shape strategic plans, and grow as leaders alongside other volunteers. Board members will also gain valuable experience in philanthropy, fundraising, and event planning.
Key responsibilities include providing leadership, supporting the Foundation’s mission, and collaborating on strategies to achieve fundraising goals. Board members will also participate in various events such as the annual golf tournament, curling bonspiel, Run For Home, and Polar Plunge.
The Foundation is looking for individuals with a strong connection to the DRDH area, from Deux-Rivières to Pembroke, and skills in areas like fundraising, finance, event planning, and grant writing. No previous board experience is necessary—just a passion for community building and a willingness to contribute.
Board and committee meetings are held approximately every two months, typically during normal work hours.
