What’s good in Pembroke? Wilkies Bakery brings community together with their pizza kits!

One local baker is going above and beyond when it comes to supporting the community. Andrew Chenard owner and main baker for Wilkies Bakery has started up his Community Pizza Night again! He started this initiative roughly five years ago when COVID hit creating issues for families and the community.

Chenard tells myFM what these pizza kits entail.

Chenard explains that he created this initiative to bring the community together and share a fun night creating pizzas with your families and friends. “My inspiration behind this event comes from the quote build a longer table, not a taller fence,” said Chenard.

He celebrated his birthday by giving out a bakers dozen of free pizza kits, he tells myFM if people are still interested in having their own pizza night to contact him.
