
A local resident faces a driving-related Criminal Code charge following an investigation by the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment. On March 29, at approximately 7:40 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Civic Centre Road in Petawawa. No serious injuries were reported.
As a result of the incident, 43-year-old Shaun Harrison of Petawawa has been charged with failure or refusal to comply with a demand, contrary to the Criminal Code. Harrison was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 14.
In addition to the charge, Harrison’s driver’s license was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
