April is Oral Health Month and the Renfrew County and District Health Unit urges the public to take time this month to learn more about oral health, how to maintain your smile, and how to prevent oral disease.
Experts say you can keep your teeth and gums healthy with these simple tips:
* Visit a dentist regularly for check-ups
* Limit sugar intake
* Avoid smoking/vaping
* Brush twice a day and floss daily
* Replace your toothbrush every 3 months or after being sick
