Who doesn’t love a carnival? This years “Carnival Craze” brought to you by Smitty’s Hardware was a smash hit with just over $15,000 earned towards the RCDSB Support Fund.
Held at Fellowes High School this past Saturday, the second annual carnival organized by Kali (Kay-Lee) Carroll featured arts and crafts, an inflatable fun zone and tasty treats that were enjoyed by all. When asked about what she thought the highlight of the day was, Kali said:
“The highlight was the laughter and smiles shared between our volunteers and all the kids at our handcrafted carnival games! So much fun!”
$65,000 in total has been raised since 2022 for the RCDSB Support Fund, and the event has already been earmarked for a return next year.
Kali would like to send a sincere thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who made the day such a success and certainly to everyone who attended this year. See you next year!
