The Canadian satirical news site The Beaverton is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year—with a bit of laughter in the news welcomed now more than ever.
We spoke with writer Clare Blackwood about what it’s like behind the scenes.

She noted that sometimes, headlines that sound like Beaverton pieces are now appearing in real-life newscasts.
