The Pembroke Public Library is getting ready for March Break.
Programming and outreach coordinator Anusha Arul says this is the first time they’ve been able to offer in-person March Break programming in a couple of years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She says they started planning activities about two months ago and excitement at the library is building.
Arul says you can email (programs@pembrokelibrary.ca) or call the Pembroke Public Library (613-732-8844 ext. 2) to register for the March Break events.
She adds those looking to register for the the event at the museum should stop by the library because there is a small fee to pay.
March Break programming at the library in Pembroke starts Saturday, March 12th, 2022, and continues all week.
Some activities include the Kids and K9 event at the Pembroke Amphitheater, stem in the parking lot at the library, hugs, snuggles and rhymes for toddlers and babies, teen take home mugs, a firefighter safety program at the Fire Hall, a shoebox archeology with the Champlain Trail Museum and a storywalk event downtown Pembroke with pages of books displayed on the windows of local businesses.
