The cost of gas continues to rise.
On Thursday last week (March 3rd) in Pembroke, gas jumped 11 cents a litre overnight to bring the cost for regular up to 165.9.
This morning (March 8th) at the same pumps, the cost was up another 19 cents a litre to 184.9.
In the last five days, the cost of gas in Pembroke has gone up roughly 30 cents a litre.
Small car (45L) owners are paying an extra $13 to fill up and truck owners (98L) are paying roughly $30 more at the pumps.
