The Town of Petawawa has a new Director of Community Services.
myFM caught up with Jordan Durocher during the council meeting last night, which happened to be his first day on the job.
Durocher is originally from Petawawa and says it feels good to be home.
He most recently worked with the Township of Whitewater Region and City of Pembroke in recreation related roles.
He says he’s looking forward to hitting the ground running with a busy couple of months ahead, including planning for the 25th anniversary celebrations for the Town of Petawawa.
Durocher took over from Kelly Williams who retired last month (April, 2022).
