The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting 16 local residents are in hospital with COVID-19 including one in the intensive care unit (ICU).

119 new cases have been reported in Renfrew County and district in the last seven days with COVID-19 outbreaks being monitored in three high risk settings.
Island View Suites Retirement Home, Groves Park Lodge and Chartwell Pinewood Retirement Home have confirmed COVID-19 outbreaks.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital is also managing a Human Metapneumovirus outbreak in the Rehab Unit.
In the last two weeks, the RCDHU has reported an additional seven deaths linked to COVID-19 for a total of 48 fatalities since the start of the pandemic over two years ago.
