There’s no shortage of activities for Canada Day in the Ottawa Valley.
The City of Pembroke will be hosting activities at the Waterfront Park/Marina from noon to 4:00pm on Friday, July 1st.
Families can enjoy bouncy castles, a small animal petting zoo, inflatables and water activities from Ry-J’s, interactive games, displays, a trail ride and more.
The festivities will begin with the Opening Ceremony at the amphitheater at noon, followed by Aimee Bailey leading the Circle Turtle Lodge at 1:00pm.
Live entertainment will continue at the amphitheater through the afternoon with performances by Junkyard Symphony, Gillan Rutz, Adam Fieldhouse, All Canadian Surf Band and headliner Andrew Hyatt.
The day wraps up with the fireworks show at Riverside Park starting at 10:00pm.
This is the first time the City of Pembroke has been able to host in-person Canada Day celebrations since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
