Representatives from the County of Renfrew will have a day at Queen’s Park in Toronto.
The event was supposed to take place in 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Renfrew County Day at Queen’s Park is an opportunity to promote and inform parliament about communities, businesses, innovators and complex issues.
Members of Provincial Parliament (MPP’s) will learn about the County of Renfrew during the legislative assembly recess, which will include a Renfrew County grown lunch and presentations about agriculture, forestry, nuclear energy/innovation and manufacturing.
The 2023 Ontario Winter Games in Renfrew County will also be featured with a number of promotional items presented to the Premier and sitting MPP’s.
Thursday, November 3, 2022 will be Renfrew County Day at Queen’s Park, and according to county staff the event has received full support and endorsement from MPP John Yakabuski.
