Karen Donovan has been elected to Petawawa Town Council. Donovan is humbled and honoured to be selected through the election process and is looking forward to representing local residents.
Donovan met some great people during the election campaign and says she learned a lot about the community.
Some of the top priorities and key issues from residents surrounded inclusion, diversity and equity and expanding the business community.
The next term of council in Petawawa will include Gary Serviss as Mayor, Theresa Sabourin as Deputy Mayor and councillors Murray Rutz, James Carmody, Adam Driscoll, Karen Donovan and Lisa Coutu.
