The Renfrew County Junior Farmers’ are having a bottle drive on Saturday, November 26th. President Alex Wytenburg says last year they raised over $3,400.
Wytenburg says they are trying to make it as easy for you to donate as possible and will be collecting bottles in Cobden, Douglas, Micksburg, Foresters Falls, Beachburg, Westmeath, Renfrew, Arnprior, Pembroke and the surrounding areas
To have your donations picked up you can message the Renfrew County Junior Farmers’ Facebook page or call Alex directly at 613-570-4682.
You can also drop donations off on Saturday (Nov. 26th) behind the cattle barn at the Cobden Fairgrounds as the Renfrew County Junior Famers’ get their float ready for the Cobden Santa Claus Parade that starts at 1:30pm.
Wytenburg says they do the bottle drive every year to help out different charities and organizations in the community.
This year money raised from the Renfrew County Junior Farmers’ Bottle Drive will go to support the Phoenix Centre and local food banks.
