COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Toy Drive and Free Light Show on Mary Street in Petawawa

It’s the 5th annual Stellar Studio Ink toy drive and for the second year there’s a free light show.

Robert Ulch says you can see the holiday themed display at 63 Mary Street in Petawawa.

Ulch says toy donations will be collected until December 15th and the light show will continue until the New Year. The lights are on from 5:30pm to 11:00pm and it’s free to watch.

Ulch says they started decorating in September and October and the holiday light show and toy drive kicked off early in November. Last year the fundraiser collected over 550 toys and Ulch says all donations will be going to Family and Children Services of Renfrew County. He adds they’re looking for toys for all ages, especially teens. Donations can be dropped off under the Christmas tree in the carport at 63 Mary Street in Petawawa.

For each gift dropped off you will also be entered into a draw to win prizes.

In addition to the Christmas Toy Drive and free light show, Santa has also made a few stops by the home on Mary Street with pictures available on the spot.
