**UPDATE: Power has been restored to most homes in the region**
Hydro One is reporting over 12,000 customers in Petawawa, Laurentian Valley, Deep River and Chalk River are currently without power. Hydro One says crews are responding to significant power outages caused by high winds. The latest update from Hydro One indicates power will be restored to customers in the Upper Ottawa Valley by 9:00pm tonight (December 23rd, 2022).
The Hydro One outage map is available online here. The Hydro One outage tools are updated every 10-minutes as additional information is received from crews on the ground.
Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight.
