The Town of Petawawa has received an update on two new apartments buildings planned along Highland Park Drive at the intersection of Civic Centre Road.
In April of 2022, the Town of Petawawa received several planning applications to allow for the development of two four story apartment buildings with a total of 64 residential units (32 units per building).
The site plan included the two proposed residential apartment buildings including landscaping, parking facilities, a curbed asphalt parking lot, garbage pickup areas, loading spaces and signage. The development is to be serviced municipal water and municipal sanitary services and private stormwater management services.
A report prepared by Karen Cronier, the Director of Planning and Development in Petawawa, says a public meeting is expected to be held on March 6th and notes the site plan is appropriate for development.
The proposed apartment buildings would be located next to an existing apartment building on Highland Park Drive.
