Police will be investigating along Mackay Street in Pembroke, looking for answers after two people were killed early in the morning on Victoria Day Monday.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP were called to a home on the street at around 3:00am Monday, May 22nd, where they found two people with life-threatening injuries.
Both victims were sent to the hospital, where one would eventually be declared dead. The other remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Not long afterwards, officers would find a third person dead near the initial scene.
Police are considering this a targeted attack and ask residents to be mindful of their personal safety.
