The Town of Petawawa has lifted the watering ban that was put in place on Tuesday (June 20th).
Following clear water test results, the intake of water from the Ottawa River to the Town’s water treatment plant has been reinstated.
Outdoor watering can now resume.
Remember, your watering activity must conform as follows: Even numbered addresses, even numbered calendar days; odd numbered homes on odd days.
You can water between 6AM and 9AM, and between 6PM and 9PM on your designated day.
“On behalf of Council, I wish to thank our residents for observing the temporary watering
ban. Your cooperation is immensely appreciated as we navigate through this tragedy
while also supporting our military partners,” states Mayor Gary Serviss.
