The first ever Run for Home in support of the Deep River and District Hospital’s Closer to Home campaign was a huge success. James Thompson, Fundraising Coordinator for the foundation tells myFM the good news.
The Closer to Home campaign has a goal of raising $2.5 million to build a 96-bed long-term care home beside the hospital. Thompson says fundraiser brings them closer to that finish line.
The Fundraising Coordinator also tells myFM there are many people to thank.
