Fans of local Junior A hockey can now start planning their evenings at the rink.
The Central Canada Hockey League’s schedule for the upcoming season is now available, with the Pembroke Lumber Kings heading to Rockland for their opening game with the Nationals on Friday, September 15th.
Meanwhile, the Renfrew Wolves and Carleton Place Canadians start the year with a home-and-home series, with game one at the Ma-te-Way Activity Centre in Renfrew on Saturday, September 16th.
Two other important events on the schedule include the Fall Showcase at the Bell Sensplex from October 8th to the 10th and the Bogart Cup Playoffs getting underway on March 20th.
The 63rd season of the CCHL will see each of its 12 member teams compete in 55 regular season games, five against each opponent. The winner of the Bogart Cup will represent the league at the Centennial Cup in Oakville, Ontario, from May 9th to the 19th in 2024.
