Improved cell services are now available in 26 Eastern communities. The Eastern Ontario Regional Network, the Government of Canada and Ontario, and Rogers Communications announced on December 6th, that Rogers 5G mobile services are now available in additional areas.
This announcement is part of the EORN Cell Gap Project, a $300 million public-private partnership to improve and expand cell services across Ontario.
Services are now available for the first time for residents in parts of Renfrew County, Frontenac County, Lanark County, and more.
