The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation (PRHF) is thrilled to announce the latest winner of their Catch the Ace progressive jackpot raffle, generously presented by OK Tire Pembroke. Congratulations are in order for Fred Thrasher, who clinched the weekly pot amount of $8,613. The winning ticket was selected through an online random generator.
Roger Martin, Executive Director of PRHF, expressed excitement as he shared details about the ongoing success of the Catch the Ace fundraiser. Week #18 draw has already commenced, boasting an estimated jackpot surpassing $178,000 if the elusive Ace is caught, along with a weekly prize exceeding $9,000.
“In just 17 weeks, we’ve raised an astounding $255,961 for the hospital,” Martin stated proudly. “Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to procure crucial equipment such as a Newborn Resuscitative, a new Maternal Fetal Monitor for the Obstetrics unit at PRH, and five new patient beds. These funds are directed towards fulfilling the hospital’s highest priority equipment needs.”
To participate in this exciting fundraiser, individuals can purchase tickets online at www.PRHcatchtheace.ca or in person at various cash sale locations during their operating hours. These locations include Holiday Inn Express, Cork Culture, NRTC Communications (Petawawa), Bumpy Roads Studio (downtown Pembroke), and Making Seasons Bright.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s Catch the Ace raffle offers not only a guaranteed weekly prize but also a progressive jackpot awaiting the lucky winner who snags the Ace of Spades. Ticket prices are structured to accommodate all budgets, with options available at 3/$5, 10/$10, 40/$20, and 200/$40. Fifty percent of ticket sales are allocated towards fulfilling the hospital’s most pressing equipment needs, making each ticket purchase a contribution to the community’s healthcare services.
