Beachburg auto racer Nathan Blok kicked off another full race season with a successful long weekend.
Blok got off to a hot start at the Super Production Challenge’s Victoria Day Speedfest in Bowmanville, taking pole position in the first race and holding a commanding lead until a fuel issue in the final few laps dropped him back to third.
A similar issue plagued Blok in Race 2, where he finished 4th.
Then, in the final race of the weekend, Blok would battle several full-course cautions and just two full laps under a green flag for another 3rd-place finish.
Blok holds onto 3rd place in the championship standings heading into the Calabogie Spring Classic on June 22nd and 23rd.
