Brianna Traversey has been missing since August of last year and her family members continue to wait for answers.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) recently released a video appeal for information on the case.
Brianna was reported missing on Sept. 21, 2023, but had not been seen since Aug. 17 of that year. A variety of circumstances led to the delay in the missing report being filed, said Detective Inspector Marty McConnell of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
Brianna was 29 years old when she disappeared from her home in Petawawa and would be 30 now.
The investigation has been ongoing since September of 2023.
Brian Traversey says he needs to once again hear his daughter say: ‘I love you daddy.’ Brianna’s sons are asking for their mother, he said.
Brianna is described as 5’8” tall with a slim build. At the time of her disappearance, she had shoulder-length hair, possibly dyed brown or red. She has several tattoos on her hands, arms and legs, including a breast cancer ribbon on her left shoulder and a Betty Boop tattoo on her calf.
Police want to hear from anyone with information, says McConnell.
Messages will go directly to the detectives on the case.
