The shootout lasted into the ninth round before the Brockville Braves came out on top of the Pembroke Lumber Kings 4-3 in a fast paced early season game at the Pembroke Memorial Centre. Jayson Alegria continued his hot pace by scoring his eighth goal of the season for the Kings. Jaiden Hay netted his first goal of the year and Billy Sancibrian also had a marker for the Kings who had their modest two game winning streak snapped. Pembroke is now 3-3-0-1 on the season.
The Lumber Kings now have a week off before facing the Nepean Raiders on Sunday, October 6th at 7 p.m. at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.
